The three most common ways I assist existing clinic owners are: performing confidential internal audits, managing and implementing marketing/advertising campaigns, and helping with business reengineering solutions. Confidential internal audits are a great way to get your finger on the pulse of your business. A basic audit consists of discovering the baseline numbers that define the health of your clinic: Annual gross sales, profit margin per service, average client lifetime value, customer acquisition cost, and ROI per channel on marketing and advertising. I will comb through your systems and generate a report with the information, then I will present my findings and make sure you understand what all of this means and how to use that information to make business decisions going forward. More advanced internal audits are available. Business process reengineering is the practice of analyzing the way your business functions and using that information to make changes to solve for whatever challenges you face. Common examples of successful reengineering are: 1. Reducing dependence on insurance income by developing systems to encourage cash patients. 2. Reimagining the hiring, training, and performance evaluation process of employees (professionals or admin) to reduce turnover or encourage greater patient compliance with treatment plans.
